Mission Statement:
To provide free, high-quality SAT, ACT, and CLT test preparation to juniors and seniors from underrepresented and low-income backgrounds during the spring and fall semesters, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to excel academically and access higher education opportunities.

Vision:
To create an equitable academic landscape by ensuring all students, regardless of their socioeconomic status, have access to the tools and resources necessary to succeed in their college admissions journey.

Goals:

• Deliver comprehensive test prep courses tailored to SAT, ACT, and CLT exams during the spring and fall semesters.
• Provide individualized tutoring and mentoring to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Host interactive workshops focused on test-taking strategies, time management, and the college application process.
• Offer college advising and counseling services, including guidance on writing impactful college essays, completing the Common App, and securing scholarships and financial aid.
• Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and educational partners to broaden our reach and impact.

To cultivate a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics in high school students, ensuring they are equipped to tackle advanced math courses and pursue STEM-related opportunities with confidence.

Goals:

• Strengthen proficiency in Algebra and Pre-Algebra for incoming high school freshmen.
• Provide targeted support to bridge gaps in foundational math skills.
• Develop students' problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, which are essential for success across all disciplines.
• Prepare students for higher-level math courses, such as Geometry, Algebra II, and Calculus, which are pivotal in college admissions and demonstrate readiness for rigorous academic challenges.

This summer program ensures that students start their high school journey with the mathematical skills necessary to access advanced courses, which are often key indicators of college readiness and competitiveness in the admissions process.

To provide targeted literacy support to incoming third-grade students, equipping them with the skills needed to meet state-mandated reading benchmarks and progress confidently to the next grade level.

Vision:
To ensure every child develops the foundational literacy skills necessary for academic success, fostering a lifelong love for reading and learning.

Goals:

• Improve reading proficiency for incoming third-grade students, focusing on preparation for the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) tests.
• Help students meet or exceed state-mandated literacy benchmarks to avoid retention and advance to fourth grade.
• Provide intensive, targeted interventions for struggling readers to build confidence and competence.
• Support parents and teachers by offering resources and strategies to reinforce literacy development at home and in the classroom.
• Instill a positive attitude toward reading, nurturing a love for books and learning.

This summer program directly addresses the critical need for third graders to achieve proficiency in reading, as mandated by Florida law [section 1008.25(5), F.S.]. By intervening early, we aim to prevent retention and ensure students are equipped with the literacy skills required for future academic success.
